Built in 1989, BEQ buildings 5698 & 5697 found themselves in a state of disrepair, not meeting the contemporary standards required for continued use. An expansive renovation project was initiated to rejuvenate these facilities, ensuring their relevance and utility for the years to come.

The scope of work for both buildings was comprehensive. It covered replacement of bathroom fixtures, tiles, and flooring in each room. Aesthetically, the spaces were enhanced with new paint on walls and doors, as well as updated carpeting and other floor finishes. Notably, every room underwent an overhaul in terms of lighting, with new fixtures installed throughout. Emphasis on safety and durability saw the replacement of windows and the integration of a new fire suppression system. To ensure the buildings met modern standards, a seismic retrofit was also undertaken.

On the electrical front, our team was pivotal in executing significant enhancements. A highlight was the installation of lighting across all rooms, with close to 1000 lights being put in place. Among our essential contributions was executing all of the medium voltage terminations. Additionally, we installed a 1000KVA pad mount transformer, a robust 3000A switchgear, and over two dozen panelboards.
